I’m bringing my show “Why The Bloody Hell Aren’t Ya?” to the Melbourne Fringe.

You might remember Nate from BB08 but my fondest memory of him our first day in Year 1 together when he ran away from school.
And after more than 20 years, we’re finally getting some work done. We’re doing an internet show together – it’s not quite TV and it’s not quite radio but it is quite live.
We’re not quite sure exactly what it’ll be, but it’ll have interviews with musicians, comedians and other famous and interesting people, music, games, competitions, chit chat, reviews and heaps of other stuff. And it’ll be the most interactive thing you’ve ever seen – you’ll be able to chat with us live in the chatroom, call up, skype us, even be in the audience, which means you’re in charge of what the show ends up being.
Our first show is Tuesday May 12th, and while I’m not too sure where you can see it, most likely it’ll be shown right after KG and the General, which you can find at www.kgandthegeneral.com.au
So tune in from 6-7pm Tuesdays and count the things that go wrong!

Sort of the Rings This is the show that sold out the entire season at the 2006 Adelaide Fringe. It’s the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (yes, all 13 hours) in 60 minutes. Lastly, I do a podcast for the Adelaide Comedy Scene. A podcast is like a radio show, but you subscribe to it (it’s completely free) and each week a new episode is downloaded to your computer and you can listen to it there, or put it on your iPod and listen to it when you’re out and about. Each episode is 20-30 minutes and is filled with chat, interviews with comedians, and info on gigs, special offers and cheap tickets. I’m also in Sort of the Rings which is more of a play thing. It’s a show that I put on with a good mate, Mike Klimczak, in the 2006 Adelaide Fringe. It sold out the entire season and was so much fun we decided to put it on again. It’s a family show, so you can bring your kids and parents, especially if they’re nerds.
I’ve been asked to take part in a docco series called “Project Standup”.
It’s a show looking at ethnic Australians taking part in a stand up comedy course. It’ll be run one night a week over a couple of months, culminating in a big show for all your family and friends. So if you’re new here, or your parents moved here but still make you take part in all the customs from the old country, and you’ve always been a bit curious as to what being a stand up comic is like, we’d love to hear from you.
